Inaugurating the auspicious occasion on 29th August, 2015 Maulana Asghar Ali Imam Mahadi Salafi, General Secretary Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Hind said:
“The Holy Quran is the final and authentic revelation from Allah to the last Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). We believe that all the concepts and injunctions in the Holy Quran are not just adequate and relevant for human beings but also most appropriate guidance and peace for the whole mankind beyond any doubt.
Our obligation towards Holy Quran is mindful and thoughtful reading of the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation, generally described as Talawah, Tarteel and Tajweed. The Holy Quran is a book to be read and reread.
We must read it carefully, reflecting on its messages. The obligation is to act upon the teachings of the Holy Quran. The Book is the Guidance for mankind. The purpose for which the Book has been revealed will be fully realized only when people act upon its teachings and make it the guide for them in every sphere of their lives.
Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Hind is lucky to organize such a competition to propagate the message of the Holy Quran to every nook and corner of India. This was originally the responsibility of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) who fulfilled his own obligation by conveying the Divine message to the Ummah; it is now the duty of the Muslims to deliever that message to all humanity. Our Madarsas and Jamiat are hub of peace, love and part of Deene Islam. They are spreading the message of Holy Quran everywhere. Alhamdu-Lillah!
The inaugural session was attended, apart from participants and guests, by Qari Nisar Ahmad Faizi, Maulana Muhammad Ali, General Secretary, Bihar unit of Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth; Maulana Dr Abdul Aziz Madani Mubarakpuri (ustadh Anwarul ‘Uloom Amlu); Qari Abdur Rahman Nadvi (ustadh Jamia Islamia Sanabil) Qari Suhaib Hassan Madani (ustadh Jamia Abu Hurairah Lal Gupalganj, Allahabad); Qari Ataur Rahman Madani (ustad Jamia Asariya Darul Hadeeth Mau); Maulana Abdul Quddus Umari (Ameer Jamiate Ahle Hadeeth M.P.); Each one of them congratulated Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Hind for its endeavours to organize such an event, very useful to propagate the teachings of Holy Quran and defend the Madarsas and its existence.
The concluding session of the event took place on 30th August, 2015 attended by Prof Akhtarul Wase as chief guest and Sheikh Ahmad Ali Rumi guest of honour. Maulana Asghar Ali Imam Mahadi Salafi delivered his concluding address:
“The pathetic and disastrous condition of the Muslim Ummah throughout the world is due to not following the Holy Quran by them. If the Holy Quran is studied and its meanings are pondered upon in an authentic quest for truth, all the veils of darkness will get illuminated by light of the Holy Quran. If we disregard the injunctions of the Holy Quran the reading and under-standing of the Glorious Book, instead of doing us any good, will only make us more guilty before Almighty Allah.
Our Madarsas and Jamiat are hub of peace and love as well as fort of Islam. Those who propagated and alleged that Madarsas are schools of terror have now recognized them as centers of peace, tranquility and harmony. Lastly, Maulana Asghar Imam Mahadi Salafi thanked the participants, guests and curators of Madarsas and prayed for their safe returns to their respective places. He also congratulated the winners and awardees of various certificates.
